Currently in order to submit a new entry there we use the "post" form generated when we create an event. I wonder if I can submit new data to a section via a "get" request? I'd like to create a page with links so that a user could create entries by just clicking those links (they'll be processed by ajax).

Thank you,

Normal events have a condition in their load() function which checks for a special post value and calls the load() function when it's set. The load() function then processes the post parameters.

So you could customise the event to merge the _GET array into the _POST array or write some JavaScript to pass the get parameters in the Ajax request.
