datasource filter: "next three months"

The date field(s) use the strtotime function to parse the DS parameter. So you can use everything that strtotime understands. Though some special characters that are used in strtotime are used in the DS parameters as well, especially the + sign. You have to encode those characters. So in your case you could set up the filter like
today to %2B 3 months

I have a datasource with dated entries. The dates can be in the future. I want to filter the datasource so I only get entries with dates within the next 3 months. Anyone know what the best approach to get this done is?
