Is anyone doing an Instagram feed as an external datasource into Symphony?

Or has anyone built an extension that pulls an Instagram feed into Symphony?

I am currently using the remote datasource extension to pull in the JSON feed from Instagram. It was working for about 15 minutes, and then after that all I get an error in my Symphony XML...

This is a bug we encountered with Facebook as well. I think it is actually a timeout problem and the external site is not responding.

Are you using caching at all? I am using Instagram via the external data source extension, I ran into that error before but I haven't noticed it when I have have caching enabled? I think Instagram might deny you if you send to many request.

Actually I just started getting this error again today after about 4 months. Would be nice to add some functionality where a cache version would be used if an error is returned
