I came across a post from a while back that "after Symphony lost its only full-time developer,"

Is this just outdated information?

In short, is Symphony going to be alive and well in the future?

I've been around since the beginning.

  • Security issues (few) have always been dealt with in an extremely prompt manner.
  • Work and progress on Symphony's core has never been so active.

I would agree, work on the core seems to be going faster now that its totally open source

In short, is Symphony going to be alive and well in the future?

Symphony is around since 2005 and has survived several big shake ups. Development progress has had its highs and lows, but currently I wouldn't worry, future looks very bright.

Also, have a look at what Soario Inc. has to offer regarding commercial support.

Thanks guys. That's great news. I just did't want ro be puuting all this exrta time into learning it if it was not gonna be around. I just love this CMS.

I just love this CMS.

We all do. And this is why it will never die. :-)
