I just recently started using this extension and think it’s close to perfect.
Except from transparent gif, png-8 and png-24 files display a black blackground.
Only when you set a background parameter in modus 3 it has the set background.
This would be a good alternative except that this is only possible with mode 3 (resize canvas).
I looked around on the forums for a solution for this, but it seems it has not been resolved yet.
Another thing i think would add a lot of value to this extension would be a mode where the image get’s resized to fit in the canvas at it’s max size without losing it’s proportions. Just like the ‘Fit content proportionaly’ function in indesign (for anyone familiar with that).
I looked into the code, but i’m not that good with PHP, but i’m sure this would’nt be to hard to modify…
