Closed#1: DOMXPath::__construct() expects parameter 1 to be DOMDocument, object given

I’ve been successfully using Section Schemas for building my site’s submission forms for a while now, but tonight I’ve hit a problem I don’t seem to be able to solve:

    <section-schema id="18" handle="blog-comments" total-entries="0">
        <error>DOMXPath::__construct() expects parameter 1 to be DOMDocument, object given</error>
    </section-schema>

Does anyone have any ideas about how to resolve this? I can manually code the forms I need for now, but it would be more convenient to have Seciont Schemas handle this for me.

After playing for 5 minutes, it appears to be the Select Box Link that’s causing problems. Bugger, I kind of need that.

Hrm, this one might be tricky to debug. Could you describe the exact structure of your Section and I’ll recreate it my end? Or email me an Ensemble of your build? Or if you can isolate this to a single Section with a single field in it? Some way for me to recreate this my end.

The issue tracker doesn’t yet send emails, so send me an email to nick [at] the domain name in my profile and I’ll try to resolve it.

I’ve tried this locally and annoyingly I can’t replicate this bug with the Select Box Link…

I believe this to be resolved, after off-thread discussions.

This issue is closed.
