New#1: error on sign up with existing email

hello, I got this working almost perfectly with validation and all, but when I try to sign up with an email that already exists i get 

"loadXML(): EntityRef: expecting ';' in Entity, line: 42"

I wish I could, but I can't really tell where that error comes from

I encountered the same problem.
