There’s a sorta legend related to Welsh translations. A council were putting up a new road sign, and sent off a request for a translation for the English to Welsh, as all signs here must be bi-lingual (it’s a pain for any advertising).
The council received a very swift reply from the translator, and proceeded to put the translation on the sign and have it printed.

The translator was away, and the Welsh translation was actually his out-of-the-office auto-responder.
