A patched version of Symphony 2.0.7, containing several stability-related fixes, is now available for download.

Getting the Fix

Package-based Installs

The official ZIP package now includes the patched files. If you're upgrading from version 2.0.6 and below, follow the normal update instructions. If you're already using 2.0.7, you can simply replace your existing sympyhony/ directory with the one contained in the updated package.

Git-based Installs

Pull from the master branch of the official Symphony repository, and then replace the following four files with their patched versions:

If you're upgrading from version 2.0.6 or lower, follow the normal update instructions. Otherwise, if you were already running 2.0.7, you're all set.

Hopefully these fixes will enable all of you to move forward with your Symphony 2 projects while version 2.0.8 is being polished up.

Where can I find a list of what has been fixed?

The updated version should fix issues with the JavaScript translation function, file uploads and a major performance bottle-neck.

  • PHP's LibXML module, with the XSLT extension enabled (--with-xsl)
