Are there still problems with Symphony’s error handling?
Possibly. But as far as I know you can not catch fatal errors: by their very nature they cannot be trapped, caught and thrown. So a blank page is what you get. But I might be wrong.

Somebody suggested to register a shutdown function wich will handle (some) fatal errors. Don’t know how hackish it is though…
