Trying to make the world a better place with easy to use software interfaces
I don't accept a "nobody will get that" or a "that's easy to understand" without having tested it. That includes my own ideas.
This is why my self-assigned role as the user's lobbyist is so much fun to me: tests always give surprising insights about what can be understood and what is difficult.
As an engineer I'm able to construct usability, instead of just going with my guts.
Besides the HTML 5 stack I'm proficient also with the scissors, to do early testing with paper prototypes to evaluate new interaction concepts.
Not only since Google actually uses the Semantic Web I'm a real fan of it. Symphony is one of the few Open Source CMS that make projects with Adaptable Content in this Multi-Channel World possible.
