Since @teoballve had a Super OLD version of Symphony that they were upgrading from (Symphony 2.0.2 or earlier)... it still had the field.sectionlink.php, and since he was using that sectionlink field in his sections, I was able to update this field to at least allow Symphony site not to return constant errors... and to allow them to update section and remove the section link and replace it with a selectbox link.

Here's my adjusted version of the field.sectionlink.php, used the Symphony 2.3 extension migration guide to update the field. This allowed @teoballve to update their section.
