Sure. team[at]symphony21[dot]com Thanks!
That fix solved the problem on dreamhost, no php.ini changing needed! I was just coming here to post the same fix, lol...
Although i'd changed line 154 to:-
<xsl:import href="workspace/pages/' . basename($page['filelocation']).'"/>
which would have worked too but not inline with the rest of the symphony code by directly referencing a folder that has the potential to change! :D
Thanky for the Symphony 2 beta!!
WOOT!!!!
Well, I'm still getting the blank XSLT processing error message on cenamayo.com. Went through the setup and S2 install multiple times, changed my .htaccess to Syllogism's recommendation, still no dice.
cenamayo.com/info.php shows correct php version, and fopen enabled.
Any other ideas?

- where are you hosting your site? -
forgive me... dreamhost.com
Did you do what Bob suggested, putting that piece of code edit on line 154?
I get these errors:
XSLTProcessor::importStylesheet(): URL file-access is disabled in the server configuration XSLTProcessor::importStylesheet(http://blues.nicktoye.co.uk/workspace/pages/home.xsl): failed to open stream: no suitable wrapper could be found XSLTProcessor::importStylesheet(): I/O warning : failed to load external entity "http://blues.nicktoye.co.uk/workspace/pages/home.xsl" XSLTProcessor::importStylesheet(): compilation error: file /mnt/gs02/herd03/29224/domains/blues.nicktoye.co.uk/html/ line 3 element import XSLTProcessor::importStylesheet(): xsl:import : unable to load http://blues.nicktoye.co.uk/workspace/pages/home.xsl XSLTProcessor::transformToXml(): No stylesheet associated to this object
I am on Media Temple, not Dreamhost.
thanks
I'll further confirm http://bugs.21degrees.com.au/comments.php?DiscussionID=17
Worked perfectly on my Dreamhost install. Thanks!
Excellent. That's a big relief for us.
Hi I had the same Problem PHP Version 5.1.6 (http://symphony.hotchpotch.ch/info.php)
Frontend output :
XSLTProcessor::importStylesheet(): URL file-access is disabled in the server configuration XSLTProcessor::importStylesheet(http://symphony.hotchpotch.ch/workspace/pages/home.xsl): failed to open stream: no suitable wrapper could be found XSLTProcessor::importStylesheet(): I/O warning : failed to load external entity "http://symphony.hotchpotch.ch/workspace/pages/home.xsl" XSLTProcessor::importStylesheet(): compilation error: file /home/httpd/vhosts/hotchpotch.ch/subdomains/symphony/httpdocs/ element import XSLTProcessor::importStylesheet(): xsl:import : unable to load http://symphony.hotchpotch.ch/workspace/pages/home.xsl XSLTProcessor::transformToXml(): No stylesheet associated to this object
Backend output:
XSLTProcessor::importStylesheet(): URL file-access is disabled in the server configuration XSLTProcessor::importStylesheet(http://symphony.hotchpotch.ch/workspace/pages/404-page-not-found.xsl): failed to open stream: no suitable wrapper could be found XSLTProcessor::importStylesheet(): I/O warning : failed to load external entity "http://symphony.hotchpotch.ch/workspace/pages/404-page-not-found.xsl" XSLTProcessor::importStylesheet(): compilation error: file /home/httpd/vhosts/hotchpotch.ch/subdomains/symphony/httpdocs/ element import XSLTProcessor::importStylesheet(): xsl:import : unable to load http://symphony.hotchpotch.ch/workspace/pages/404-page-not-found.xsl XSLTProcessor::transformToXml(): No stylesheet associated to this object
Any Idea?
Did you try the fix mentioned?
Yes it works for frontend! but for backend symphony return 404 Error: Page Not Found
and the url:
http://symphony.hotchpotch.ch/symphony/publish/articles/
This will be related to #9 - http://symphony21.com/forum/discussions/26/1/
The .htaccess
in /symphony
was likely not created. It's fixed for the update, however this thread http://symphony21.com/forum/discussions/9/1/ covers how to fix it manually. Just need to create the .htaccess
file yourself.
Sorry my errors if i would open my eyes i would see all things!
:) That's ok. Glad you got it working.
I did a clean install of the new beta and now everything appears to be working! Thanks for all the help. :)
Bob's code change on line 154 fixed the problem for me. I'm running the beta on my localhost.
